This beginner group obedience class meets once a week on a weekday evening, for six weeks. All breeds welcome, for dogs 6 months old and up. Reactive/fearful dogs ok!
Price: $250 for the 6-week class
These weekly training groups are perfect if you cannot commit to a six week class, or if you are working on something other than basic obedience with your dog. Groups are small (4-5 handler/dog combinations max.), meet once a week, and are on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Groups currently offered: Advanced Obedience, Nosework (UKC/AKC), Beginner Personal Protection, and Advanced Personal Protection
Protection clients must call for intake conversation first.
We also offer private sessions, either at our location or we can travel to you. These are priced by the hour and total cost varies based on training topic and travel distance (where applicable).
In the summer, classes and training groups meet at the Amstel Training and Event Center, conveniently located just one mile south of the City of Perry. The Center features spacious training fields, a small 20’ x 30’ pole barn, and an additional 17 acres for tracking, lure coursing, and other disciplines that require a lot of open space. The property is fully fenced. In the event of bad weather training is moved to the 60’ x 120’ indoor riding arena at sister company Amstel Acres LLC.
