Beginner Group Obedience Class

Beginner group obedience classes are offered throughout the year, with start dates posted on the website as well as on our Facebook page. The class meets once a week on a weekday evening for six weeks. This class is for all dogs, any breed, age 6 months and up. Class location is either the Amstel Training & Event Center or the indoor arena at Amstel Acres. Group size varies from approximately 6-10 dog/handler combinations. We have a team of experienced working dog handlers assisting so no one gets ‘lost’ in the group, and we can accommodate reactive/anxious dogs.

Cost of the six-week class is $250

Training Groups

Beyond the beginner group obedience class we offer an opportunity to train on a weekly basis in a variety of sports/disciplines through our training groups. Current offerings include advanced obedience, UKC/AKC nosework, and beginner/advanced personal protection. These groups are generally around 4-5 dog/handler combinations max. and there is room for individualized attention for each dog. There is no commitment necessary, just join when you can or use them as an opportunity for continuous training.

Prospective clients for personal protection will need to complete an intake conversation and evaluation before admittance to these groups.
